Share your anonymous stories with the Elm Tree Story Booth

The Elm Tree Story Booth was designed to be an interactive and mobile public art piece that provides the opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to share stories about their beloved interactions with nature. Different cultures, and people within the same culture, have unique perceptions of nature and its functions. Giving voice to the perspectives will help to better understand why individuals and societies interact with the environment in such strikingly different ways.

HOW WILL THE STORIES BE USED?

Select stories will broadcast through the NHP podcast, as well as, being translated into inspiration for original artwork for upcoming exhibitions. If you are interested in sharing your story you can follow the Elm Tree on Twitter - @storieselm or find us on Instagram - @elmtreestories. If you’re interested in hosting the tree at a specific site, or during an event, please fill out the Host Application Form and someone will connect with you directly. The Elm Tree Story Booth is also available to serve as a data collection tool for research projects similar to our involvement with the River Stories Project in collaboration with the ENVR212 course and the Sustainable Communities Partnership program at the University of St Thomas.
